| Diaphragm | Virtually none unless equipped with moisture trap or pulse eliminator. Moisture trap must be drained on a regular basis and element changed out as needed. determination of this by various means depending on type. Follow manufacturers instructions. Also make sure that the bleed hole at the connection point of any adapter you may be using is clear. Avoid prolonged periods of operation. | N/A |
| Oiless Piston | Same as the above except in addition you will need to drain the air tank of any moisture when compressor is off and all air has been released. Check the air in take filter to make sure it is not blocked and replace it if necessary.. | Check the entire compressor over for air leaks or any other noticeable damage. Repair air leaks by tightening the connector bolt with a wrench or sealing with plumbers tape. Sometimes the seal must be replaced. |
