Iwata Kustom Airbrushes

My Personal Airbrush Recommendations

Iwata Kustom Series Airbrushes

If you want to make good money with your airbrush then custom airbrushing is the way to go. But the custom market is very picky and demands perfectly rendered work. So you literally can't afford to skimp on your airbrushes. And trust me, you don't want to be constantly fighting with your airbrush because you are trying to get it to do something it wasn't designed to do.

What's So Great About the Iwata Kustom Series

Here is a little low down on these airbrushes. I went out and bought the Kustom Eclipse CS. It runs only about $180.00. What makes it so great besides the price? A large color cup, it is gravity feed like I prefer, and it atomizes urethanes like a dream. I used to use the HP-C for heavier spraying, but no more. But then that is the Kustom claim to fame; the ability to atomize even pearls! I used it for just that and it did a beautiful job.

I can even get pretty good detail out of the thing by removing the spray cap and leaving just the needle exposed. The Kustom CS was designed by Iwata for Mike Lavelle, MR. True Fire himself. It has a removable floating nozzle and cleans up like a dream.

IThe Kustom CS is my airbrush pick for the Custom Painter who wants to spray pearls, metallics and candies.

For really fine detail I use the Custom Micron C.
